Best cheese scone EVER!! No, really, it was awesome Good selection of food and drinks, both got and cold Funky decor with mismatched chairs, tables, benches and stools. Massive exposed beams that hint of the history of the building. So cool that dogs are welcomed, especially as people walk across the Downs with humans and dogs alike! Quite a serious member of staff, but attentive
We enjoyed our visit here on the whole. Really nice cakes (and good portions) and lovely coffee. There was no welcome or indication whether to order at the counter or table on arrival and the younger girl serving didn't smile or give any eye contact but the owner(?) was friendlier later.
A lovely little Café with a very homely atmosphere and welcoming staff. I don’t come in often but when I the food is great and Vic, Liz, Chloé and Dina are all lovely. I usually go for the Eggs Benedict which is excellent but recently went for the BBQ Chicken toastie which was equally excellent (the milkshakes are also amazing). If you’re looking for somewhere family and dog friendly for a decent lunch or breakfast, a bite to eat after a walk through the countryside, or simply afternoon tea, the Wye Coffee shop is the best place to go.
We stopped off in the lovely little Wye after a morning walking on the North down Way. We had afternoon Tea and coffee, with a wedge of chocolate Tiffin in the lovely little Wye coffeeshop & Kitchen which is nicely set on the corner with nearby free parking. We loved it and definitely recommend a visit. Ps The thunder and hale stones where a little suprise after walking in sunshine most of the morning
We have just celebrated my friends 70th birthday with a truly scrumptious afternoon tea for 5 people. Wow ! It was amazing. Everything was freshly made ,sandwiches and cakes. The scones were the best we have eaten in a very long while ,they were baked to perfection. There was plenty to share and we even took some home with us as we were full to bursting. The staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly be visiting here again, the ambiance was warm and cosy. A huge thank you to everyone for making my friends special birthday celebration so fantastic.
A brilliant coffee shop / cafe. Very enthusiastic staff and dog friendly. Although the main coffee machine was broken they still managed to provide some excellent filtered coffee in both caffeinated and decaf. Providing an excellent full English which is available till 1230 daily. They also have a good selection of cakes for afters or take aways.
I was killing time, so just had a coffee. If I go back however I’ll definitely have one of the lovely looking cooked breakfasts. The staff were very friendly, & the atmosphere was good.
